Foundations of a Fee-for-Service Practice
A free masterclass from Jody Pugh
About 40 minutes. On demand. No cost.
This Started With a Decision We Made Over a Decade Ago
Back in the mid-2000s, Melanie and I made a decision. We were going to build something different. We had a new vision for our practice, one that would take us into the fee-for-service space and let Melanie do something she really cared about, which was mentoring younger doctors coming up behind her.
That vision had a catch. If Melanie was going to mentor younger doctors inside a fee-for-service practice, we could not be average. We could not even just be good. We had to be extraordinary. Because growing a practice of that size, outside of insurance, requires it.
So we got to work. There were some things we already knew. And there were some things we had to learn the hard way. This masterclass is where I share both.
If fee-for-service is the direction you want to go, or even if you are just wondering whether it is possible for a practice like yours, this is the right place to start.
The truth is, you cannot build what we call a Dream Practice by being average. Good is not enough either. The fee-for-service model rewards the practices that get a handful of foundational things exactly right. And most practice owners either do not know what those things are, or they know but have never had anyone walk them through how to actually build them.
That is what this masterclass does. In about 40 minutes, I walk through the foundational elements that every thriving fee-for-service practice has in place. Not theory. Not a list of tactics. The real stuff, from inside a practice that has actually done it.
This is for You If . . .
What You Are Going to Hear
You are a private practice owner who has been thinking about dropping insurance, or you already have and you are trying to figure out how to make it work at a higher level.
You want to build something extraordinary, not just a practice that survives, but one that actually reflects the vision you had when you started.
You are willing to be honest with yourself about where you are and what it is going to take to get where you want to go.
You do not need a pitch. You need a real conversation with someone who has been where you are and figured out what comes next.
A Little Bit About Me
I do not teach from a book. I teach from experience. And I am still in it every single day.
Melanie is the doctor. She has been practicing for over 30 years and built one of the most respected fee-for-service practices in Southwest Florida.
I am Jody. I am not a dentist. I am a culture architect and the business mind behind what we have built together. I founded Pugh Leadership Academy because we kept meeting practice owners who were talented and hardworking and still felt stuck. We built PLA to be the resource we wished we had had.
Ready to Watch?
It is free. It is on demand. You can watch it right now or come back to it when you have 40 minutes to actually sit down and think.
If what we share hits home, we will tell you exactly where to go from there. But that is for later. Start here.
The foundational elements of an extraordinary practice are not complicated. But somebody has to show you what they are.
